About

Emily Thing - owner and artist at Little Cabin Graphics.

I started the company in the fall of 2002, in a tiny cabin on the top of Ohayo Mountain in Woodstock, New York. That was when I shared the one-room space with my pit-bull, Billie. As a young artist, I earned a BFA from Pratt Institute in Fine Art and Illustration. I have over 2 decades of art-making, graphic design, illustration, and website development experience, beginning in the late 90's in New York City, and later returning to upstate NY, closer to my extended family and hometown of Kingston, NY to begin a freelance business and have more time to paint.

An extensive client list includes:

Keebler, HBO, Draft Worldwide LLC, TNN's Country.com, Lori McLean Jewelry, Woodstock Custom Woodworking, Paul Alexander Construction, SUNY Ulster, Jacquelyn Frank, Fletcher Gallery, Josh Finn Furniture, Earth Bound Apothecary, Uprooting Lyme, Tracking Wonder, Black Dome Press, Talisman of Woodstock, painter Jenny Nelson, photographer Gerardo Somoza, as well as quite a few other fine artists, photographers, healers, writers, holistic practitioners, and small business owners.

These days I live with my 14 year old daughter, Liliana, in an updated version of the Little Cabin, on a farm in Saugerties, New York, with our dog Bean (and a few cows).

I am also a fine art painter.
